Gatti Design was founded in May 2003.

The Practice's works on mainly commercial and residential projects.

Gatti Design has developed expertise in the sector of the catering industry and of residential refurbishments

The residential projects are generally split into either, refurbishment jobs, or purely interior design with sites in London, the South East, Italy, Paris  and Ibiza.

An important part of the activities of the practice is “L’Officina” the workshop part of the office aimed at experimenting with “found” materials (building materials and day to day objects), with a particular commitment to environmentally conscious architecture and sustainability. L’Officina focuses on material performance and production of furniture and lighting prototypes.

Running the practice as a “sole practitioner”, has allowed carlo to maintain great flexibility and follow interests such as photography and travel.
